Garaging them really helps keep the price down.

Does it, I'll check. I have two near enough identical cars, one garaged, one not. The variations are more likely to be usage allocations, one is considerably lower than the other. All our cars are insured comprehensively, with business use.

Garaging them really helps keep the price down.
My problem is that I have too many cars and the garage is for just for repairs!! Regards, Matthew T.

Actually i found the biggest factors other than age of driver and accident record is postcode, when i had the flat in Ryde town the XM was about 4-500 quid fully comp, when we moved out to the sticks (about 1 mile away) in a nice/rural area the premium was nearly 30% less, same driver, same car, same use.

I have classic insurance, 3k annual mileage, but I have to street park and quite close to Cheltenham town centre. They don't like that so the price is a little higher, compared to garaging it. It's just not practical for me to garage it unfortunately, but it would be cheaper if I did. Some classic policies require it.

I think you are right Dean, postcode certainly determines what you pay.

Nice Itallia's there, what colour grey was used?

Those wheels were discontinued by '92. That car would have had wobbly-webs, which as you know look ten times better...
