I have bought two more XM!

Post by MTXM » Wed Nov 25, 2015 1:52 pm

Please do not panic they are only models!! On a recent internet surf I happened to spot these and the Presidential S2 V6 is quite a rare beast that came from a dealer in China! Apparently the original car was chosen by Mitterrand for his departure from office. Both models are impressively detailed including interior wood trim and even the S1 steering wheel badge! Regards, Matthew T.

Very nice Matthew, I have a silver mk2 V6 Norev model like your mandarin one. The detail is very good for such a small model. They also do the early V6 in mandarin with the Italia alloys. Might have to get that one... Christmas is but weeks away!

Many thanks Russ and yes I also have a silver Norev model with the alloys and the more basic model in grey! I am sure your Dad will oblige if you drop suitable hints! With regards, Matthew T.

There is an OttoMobile one, which is resin and insanely expensive. Norev are meant to be launching their R30 this month, but are usually very late with their releases. Would have thought with Xmas very soon it would be in the shops pronto. ;)

You mean this one Paul. The price seems quite reasonable to me Russ given the level of detail and less than the Otto XM. With regards, Matthew T.

Yeah, that's the Norev one. The price is far more sensible, hence why I would like one, plus as you say loads of decent detail. It's just not obtainable yet.

The Otto ones are all gone now I think. They tend to be limited runs and are rare.

Wish norev would do a R25....

You can if you can find one an Otto R25 Monaco. Facelift version.
I would love a series on R25.
