Both my 2.0 and the 12v loom have that two pin white connector floating about under the LHM tank, sorry no idea what it's for.
The only blue plug in that area on mine was the one for one of the evap solenoid valves so if it isn't that it may well be 24v specific.

For the 2.5 engine loom Citroen used a universal one for both LHD and RHD cars.
So on a RHD car under LHM tank you find an oil soaked extra connector (without blanking plug) for the throttle pot.
This on a high volume produced car so they may well have applied the same principle to a low volume special order car.

Thanks.

I'm only really bothered as the EU isn't behaving properly and activating the ECU relay. The Blue connector is supposed to be a Gnd, but I don't know what it's meant to connect to.

Hi Will,

I have now checked my cars and I also have several spare connectors in both cases under the lhm tanks, so I do not think you necessarily have any problems there!

If you are going to the National next weekend I hope to be there in my rhd 24v, therefore further scrutiny and checks for comparison would be possible!

With regards,

That would be good Matthew. I'll see you there.

I might bring the IGN controller and ECU along for testing, if you would be OK with that.

Only a bit of progress today.

Firstly, the tailgate now shuts courtesy of a bit of sledgehammer action.

I freed off the seized trhottle flaps last night and tonight did the manifold resonator flaps. The upper one was partially seized and on both the linkages were seized solid.

The wiring loom is pretty well refitted, having re bound it last night.

I haven't fitted the ECU connector rear section on yet as I want to back probe the connector.

One of the O2 (I think) relays has a snapped wire, so I need to fix that.

Yes of course that will be no problem Will, as long as you do not also plan to remove the engine loom!! I will bring along a spare working module and I may have an ecu to lend if required.

The O2 sensor relay is quite easily recognized by the wiring on the 12v and hopefully likewise the 24v!

Matthew T.

I'll just plug my bits onto your loom to test.

I want to be confident the ECU is actually working.

Gosh that could be painful Will - sorry I had to lower the tone!! With regards, Matthew T.
