Put your car on Citroen's world map!

Post by White Exec » Sat May 05, 2018 12:39 pm

This expanded Citroen site has just been flagged up on FCF...
http://www.citroenorigins.co.uk/en

A lot of fun to use - not least with the 'listen to...' sound effects for XM > Suspension.
I swear it's the sound of leaking fluid!! What??

You can now add your car (photo, brief description...) to a world map, which allows you to look at other folks' cars and their whereabouts.

Click on the relevant car's Image (eg the XM)
Click Discover
Click Your Citroen
Click Explore Map
Click Add Your Citroen
and follow the easy instructions.

Lots to play with, and a large number of good archive and publicity photos.

Thanks for flagging that up Chris and I added my details just a few weeks ago. In the UK there is only Dean and myself at present and it would be great to have more sign up! It is fascinating to see where else around the World the XM has impacted. With regards, Matthew T.

I did find you on the site earlier Chris and there is a bit of a delay before anything happens! With regards, Matthew T.

Ages since I last looked. Yes, it's there! :P
I think that once your photo/text have been uploaded, the entry gets checked over before appearing on the world map. Probably just as well!

Lots of scope for some more XM's, as you say!

Some gorgeous images and pictures there.

Just found this - I'm curious why they put the near full poverty pack XM, instead of top of the line version...

I thought that, it did seem a bit odd to me, all the marketing guff from the day focused heavily on the V6, which is obvious, but when remembering the model they chose the 2.0i, maybe it was because it was the best selling model?

It doesn't even have Hydractive, right? And no minor gauges (e.g. water temperature etc) - The dash seems near identical to mine (tach, speedo & large fuel gauge). It seems so wrong.
