I would have thought it would be easier to correct the thread on the existing fitting, with a thread file (if you are lucky enough to have one), or with a needle file just to clean up the thread start. The secret of course is to have the pipe correctly aligned.

I have this written down. Info was from Pleiades, I think...

3.5mm pipe M8 x 1.25
4.5mm pipe M9 x 1.25
old 6.35mm pipe M12 x 1.25
new 6mm pipe M12 x 1

Ok thank you
having a good think at work I was starting to wonder if it was possable to repair threads with a small file we will see

And thanks for those sizes although I don’t think they come from Pleiades I did ring them

Oh thank you

I will measure and confirm tomorrow but would mine likly be the early 6.35mm pipe it’s late 1992 build

I also finally sorted out that chewed hydractive harness by the nearside strut once I worked out the broken wires were on the ecu side of the harness it was much easer than expected
As mine is a single electrovalve car am I right in saying that I don’t need the E-crofting box or anything else added to the hydractive side

Just add one diode to the suspension ECU output, instead of the two for later H2 cars.
Although only one EV, the arrangement is the same, with a working reverse diode to protect the ECU output, and ensure proper EV pull- and hold-in.
A single 400V 6A diode will be more than adequate (and not too miniature). Connect diode stripe to ECU output, other end (anode) to a good Gnd.

Wasn't aware of a thread size change on them..

I thought the thread pitch change was for the pump threads. Later 6+2 pumps do have a finer thread than earlier pump threads.
