While I remembered I checked the headlamp washers.

The motor fires up.. But it sounds to short to me. But anyway no water came out so will check out the hoses, then try another motor.. The wing needs to Come off to do the bottom leg repair when they arrive.

That sounds about right, to me.

As long as the pipework is full, the washer units deliver and then seal, the pump delivers adequately, it should be long enough.

Check for leaks, blockages, then fit a new pump.

Passenger mirror sorted...

I pressed the glass up n down to check it had movement which it did because it dips.. So I then removed the connector to the door and checked the pins.. All pins looked good no corrosion... Put it back on.. And lo n behold it's working in all directions.. From the switch..

Another job ticked off..

Too the water feed pipe to the Y Piece.. Water poured out the pipe from the tank. So I think the pump could be buggured...

I'll try another pump..

I've not used the car for about 2 weeks now.. Will be out in her again tomorrow..

Anyway a small irritation I have.. Everything is fine.. The blower works.. As well as heat Flaps and direction Control.. However, if the Ac is pressed or on the auto ac cars windscreen demist is pressed the ac cones on when I switch off something latches on which with ignition on the heater panel stays on and cooling fans stay running on slow speed. Doesn't matter what's pressed. The only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery... So using gabours diagram been trying to work out what might be latching.. But can't work it out.. The idea is to add another relay to divert its supply so its gaurenteed to go off with ignition.. Its annoying as its only when ac is pressed which the system has no gas in it anyway..

It looks like relay 813 (slow & fast) is sticking on after being energised.
Probably burned contacts so it arcs as it switches, then the contacts weld together until the battery is disconnected.

Both fan relays receive power straight from the battery, 813 activates and the Lh fan and depending on the inverter relay (815) the fan Gnd is made either straight to Gnd, or via the Rh fan.
The Gnd through the Rh fan means both fans run at slow speed, due to double the resistance.

For full speed the inverter relay (815) shunts the Lh fan directly to Gnd and relay 814 sends +12v to the Rh fan.

Last week on my trip back from hospital a squeek stopped and the battery light came on.. Daam.. Altinator belt snapped.. Anyway u managed to get home

Ordered a 5pk1175 and it is actually 50mm too short.. Anyway after a bit of messing.. I removed the tensioner adjuster and managed to swing the altinator out to max position I just got the belt in.. Levered it to tension it up and put a bolt on for now.. So got that sorted..

Then hp pump belt.. Tightened it up but became rather alarmed with pump movement when running.. I took a video but it doesn't pick up the movement..

We shall see how it goes.. But we are all back up and running again..

Did you order a 1175 belt, or is that what arrived?
It should be 1195/1200.
