After a brief clean up yesterday

Height corrector as before just slightly cleaner

Lower area all dry..

I'm not going to town.. ill attend to the height corrector pipe then spray some petrol over it all to further clean it after I've done the other smaller issues.

Was there any leaking fluid?
If it isn't actually leaking it shouldn't fail.
The tester spends about 20 minutes under the car and should only fail it if there are drips.
Wetness is either residual fluid, or such a small leak it can't readily be detected.

That pipe wasn't on the Mot list and now appears more like surface rust than deep. What is it really like?

I know will.. I can only act on what he told me. I knew there was no leak because after I sorted the accumilator sphere seal the lhm level hasn't moved. .. he had just done a hard brake test which didnt leave any drips nor any drips from suspension moment. But hey ho.. I'm sort if glad as I wouldn't of known about the height corrector pipe needing attention .

An Mot test should be viewed as an opportunity to have someone else check your car and any work you have done.

Does this rear offside caliper bleed pressure look low..

Suspension on max.. engine running pedal pressed..

I'll just pop the bleed screw out and check the other end isn't blocked or partly blocked.

On second attempt after removing the nearside wheel and checking it the flow was much better, so I went back to the offside and it too had also improved so I thought brill all done at the back.. then went to assemble off side and
the pipe to the offside had burst right by they curly coil .. so recovered a kuprel nickel pipe and got it fitted under the car but at the moment the union at the caliper end has siezed to the pipe I've got it soaking in releasing fluid.. not wd40 .. if it doesn't free off ill remove the caliper and screw it onto the pipe .

That's a very slow flow rate, so possibly the pipe was blocked internally. That particular pipe was probably the source of the leak anyway, so shouldn't be a problem now.

Blocking the brake pedal down, raising the car and leaving it running is a good test of the piping.

Seeing the pipe back-nut has seized on, can't you just unscrew it anyway, sacrificing the pipe.
To save rust seized pipes with back-nuts, apply heat to break the rust bond.

No. There was no leak at all in the brakes untill after so it was one that appeared after I looked over and fiddled I must of caught the rust scab on the pipe .. this wasn't weeping it was pouring out lol..

Well this stuff is amazing. Few squirts last night and a couple more this evening.. and the union freed up..

Plumbed in.. bled off side. And observed a far better flow..

Need to just double check nearside.. I put the wheel back on think was i done. .

But just need to secure the pipe to the car make sure its not gonna chafe on anything and this time should be rear end finished, then onto the front.

Go easy with the easing fluid, doesn't seem to be available any more.

Before putting the rear wheels on, pry the brake pads back and let the pressure re apply them. That way you know there are no seized caliper pistons.
