White smoke has been seen and a new car has been welcomed into the fold. 
Glad to be back in an XM again.
Speaking of smoke but much more serious:
Got news recently that my previous immaculate French LHD XM (which I had contacted him about only weeks previous with a view to buying it back off him) was a victim of Arnaud's (can't remember second name) fire near Bristol. Numerous C6s, Xantias and my XM were destroyed when a fire from next doors piggery spread to his garage. Very sad time - for Arnaud and lovers of old Citroens in general.
Glad to be back in an XM again.
