Hmmm

I mean we've all seen crazily styled cars before (come on, we drive Citroens), but that's not what I'm confused about.
As far as I can see, the wheels don't actually contact the ground...

Certainly different think the wheels are bigger on the inside of the housing by the looks of this picture.

Its a ground based glider, a second generation hovercraft.
It slides over the ground supported off a cusion of air.
Each of the 4 jet fans are bidirectional with a small amount of air leached off for the cushion lift.
Steering and forward or reverse are done by altering the fan air flow direction.
Parking is done at right angles.
It had a single design starting point.
The MD wanted a car that could drive away without needing to remove the wheel clamp.

i do love a good prototype but, why? if you have ever driven, or should i say piloted a hovercraft you will know that putting one on the road would be, um, interesting to say the least, they are somewhat camber sensitive :lol:
