ta!
Knocked the nuts off yesterday afternoon using a 36mm socket and 2ft breaker bar.
Today, I removed the lights, horns, windscreen wash tank, front wings, have the wiper motor disconnected ready for removal as soon as the bonnet comes off, have almost sorted out and removed the bumper. Front panel that the radiator and fan unit bolts into is almost disconnected too.
Now looking very sad for itself. Major bit of corrosion on the offside mounting for the wing (above the bumper).
Tomorrow lunchtime, weather permitting, it is going up on axle stands.
Wheels coming off then too and two transferred onto the green XM.
Still not heard from Andrew - saw him post on FCF, PM'd him but no answer yet - still after volunteers for Saturday.
PS
Are there any specific requests for parts? This is the time to mention it - otherwise, I'll take off what is easy and let the rest go.
Paul, I shall try with the rear subframe but I doubt I have time ...
