10 disc CD changer - fitted & working!

After a couple of failed attempts to get a Philips RC 026 6 disc CD changer from fleabay (both arrived non working) I came across a 10 disc CD changer, the Philips RC 032 which I hadn't seen before. A cheap buy at £19, I fitted it not expecting it to be able to play all 10 discs.

It will play and jump to discs 1 to 6 but if you try to jump to disc 7 it will revert back to disc 1 which is what I expected. However if you skip all tracks on disc 6 to the last track, it will move onto disc 7 & display the number 7...skip tracks to the last track on disc 7 & it will play & display disc 8 & so on.

Very pleased with it, and pleasantly surprised by the sound quality in the XM. It came with a very long cable which I understand are hard to come across, decided not to fit it in the boot though instead putting it under the passenger seat, velcro'd to the carpet! The front overhang of the seat hides it well enough.

These 10 disc changers seem to less common but if you find one I'd recommend getting one they seem to be the same size as the 6 disc versions.
