XM video test

Post by Dieselman » Tue Aug 21, 2012 8:36 pm

Yesterday I tested my home made camera mount out just to see.

This car needs the spheres regassing, so is a bit choppy. I might do the same run another time after recording the pressures and gassign the spheres up.

Why on the door though, it's a very limited view. What model camera are you using?

That's great Will, I really like that!

The view is good and once the spheres are gassed up I bet it'll look even better what with the wheel and body...

I really should sort a film camera out to film the CXM Convoy Run this year...

As Franklin noticed, it was to get the relationship between the body and wheel in the frame.
Also the camera being further back creates a more interesting view than from the front of the car.

The camera is just a Pana TZ7.

That's great Will and what an interesting experiment, although you did seem to be going rather fast - may be it is just the angle of the camera!! With regards, Matthew T.
