Ah but this has a parrot built in, a2dp Bluetooth streaming and SD card slot. Ticks all the boxes.

Its a Pure unit. I beleve it can also be used to control a phone via blue tooth..

That's interesting. Did think of an external thing like that or a parrot, but I want to put an amp and a sub in the boot at some point, and have never found any reliable info that says they will be compatible with one of those pure things.

I bought the missus a non DAB one for her birthday and it's absolutely brilliant with the handsfree, she's clearer and less background noise through the car kit than the handset itself

And I've read poor reviews for the window aerial, so will probably end up treating myself to

I'll loose the LH display showing the info, although it only ever says tape play or LBC 97.3 or Mute, so no great loss there. Plus I can't really see it without moving my head whilst driving, all audio changing is done through my phone, which I can shout at anyway to do things.

Can't afford that this month though, so interference-catching aux to tape adapter continues it's use for now. Might try to find a ferrite coil for it
