Wvo users.. advice please

Im NOT dooing a 100% WVO, there will always be diesel in there too! Ive no time to fart around adding heaters etc.. Just the basics so it will help reduce fuel costs.

10-20% dino should do the trick then :)

I'm looking at one of the fphe type ones that will run just before the filter and lag the filter when the temps next drop below 5' I think. Saves an absolute fortune this veg stuff :D

Theres no point neither car is on the road and it will be some time now before they are with this new job so theres no use for it.. and no I aint putting it in the hdi and no theres no time what so ever to make it bio..

Morrison's had an offer of 4 litre tins of veg oil at £1.62 per tin which is very cheap, a smidge over 40p per litre for new oil.

If you're going to put a Xantia type thermostat/filter heated housing on, there is a simple mod that keeps it on all the time rather than the small stat closing off the coolant when it gets to operating temp. All you need is a 10 cent piece. It doesn't do any harm to leave it hot all the time when running on diesel either:

Nigel, Ive got an XM Proper sort of thermostat housing, that, well obviously, does NOT contain a thermostat as its on the back of the 2.1 engine...
