So where were the French ministerial bods in the rear seats supposed to park their Chateauneuf-du-Pape or cafe noir? Significant oversight.

It certainly is. Especially in the rear. You would have thought a nice little tray could be fitted in the armrest and pulled out.
I have a cup holder of sorts in the front of mine. The oddment tray where the immobiliser key pad usually goes. Can fit a little espresso in there!

Ive noticed another potential difference.....yesterday i was at Paul's and acquired a new set of dashboard tweeters from his early (H reg i think) donor...

When i went to plug them into my existing loom plug, the connections were in reverse....it the old tweeter had a female plug on it, yet on my K reg the tweeter hd the male plug on it. The exact same female plug on mine was in the dash loom looking up at me....What's that all about! Why change the plug configuration around, other than to make me have to transfer the connectors over

Also the door window switches had difference configurations on the pin side whereas on top they look identicle....Good job Paul supplied me with both types ;)

How strange. Mind you Paul was finding odd plug differences on the two diesels he was cobbling together.
I didn't know that about the window switches. Anything to do with being lifted of the CX?

The window switchs are like a sort of Polarity type thing, but the real reasons I dont know... They are of course PSA Parts Bin stock from that eira so yes BX and CX use the same switch's..

Harness plugs changed BUT The females fit either type of female plugs. Early harness plugs had Squeeze "Ears" type locks, and later ones had the spring bars..
