I wonder if you heftily compress a new one, does it take up the shape of the one on the left?

I would think so and overtime it will look like on the pic. Still not so sure why it would be knackered.

Cos it had leaked all is fluid out. It has compressed nicely and looks fine. I hope it is fine!!

Well it's in, the engine that is.... As of today my car has seemed to have shed 30,000 miles. Shhhhhhh....
let's hope the transplant takes!

Good to hear progress. And the loss of 30k mi!
Now it has weight sitting on it, does the new mount look anything like an old one?

It does Chris, a little higher maybe, but then the old one was compressed. The new mount compressed down a bit once it had weight and I had torqued the bolts down. The engine is sitting nice and level.

Russ, I had a look at "How Many Left" yesterday and it's saying there are only 2 SED Autos currently on the road, 1 is mine, is the other yours?
