Well, I have had this car for just about a week now and I have done 250 miles in it. So far, I love it. It is seriously lacking in the acceleration department, but that really is my only criticism. I find it really comfortable for wafting around in - which what I expect from big Citroens - and it cruises effortlessly at motorway speeds.

There is always something nice about knowing that yours is the only one in the car park :) Went to Teesside Park this afternoon and there were loads of cars costing 30-50 times what I paid for this, but I bet I enjoy my "oddities" as much as the others enjoy their expensive success markers.

We are going to Stroud for a week soon and we will be going in my Mitsubishi VR4 because it is an estate and we are going as five adults, much as I love the power of the Mitzi, I wish it was the Cit we were going in. For one thing, it looks like it's going to be a lot more economical!

I think it's looking good, so thanksto Citroenmad and anyone else who's had a hand in this car's past life.

Remember this one?

Took it for MOT today, and it passed with no advisories.

Just got to get the driver's window fixed now, snapped cable I believe - and that was working when I bought it!

Goood stuff Rob,

Cables snapping is very common unfortunately. They're repairable with some bike brake cable, electrical cable joiners (copper blocks with 2 screws removed from their insulation) and patience!

Wow, im very pleased your on here, its nice to know its gone to a good home. Your obviously enjoying it and its being as reliable for you as it had been for us over the 8 years.

Ive driven many miles in that and id take it anywhere, it never once failed to go and always provided extreme comfort and it does get some looks too.

Im pleased it passed its MOT without fault, it always has.

It must have been you i saw in Darlington a month, or maybe slightl more, back. It was the Xm but i didnt know if it was Marty or you, the new owner, driving it. I was in my silvcer C5 and as you were going the way i was wanting to go i was following you for a few miles out of Darlington up the road towards the airport as you turned off to the right. It was looking very nice 8-)
Chris.
