BTW the bxclub is having a mini-meet at Gaydon Heritage on the 27th of January @ 11am if anyone is interested. I'm going in the XM as the BX is still in hibernation.

Well, he would but the problem is he and Danielle are in Chester this weekend and the servers are in Milton Keynes...

Rather a long finger is needed....

That's well worth a visit. We had a CCC National there one year. Not good for a rally but the museum is absolutely fantastic if not a little (well very) sad as it charts so well the demise of the British motor industry...

The FCF Test Forum is now updated to the last good backup which was the early hours of yesterday morning...

It's good now for searching and roaming around...

carrying on, after undoing the plastic part of the security valve I had no idea there was a strong spring in there!

And a rod, and some other bits... Anyway, I spent 4 hours trying to get it back together... would it go Nope! So had a quick look at another on the bench today at mums, and I think I had been tring to put one part back in the wrong way!!! NO WONDER! So, going back tomorrow to assemble it back correctly, in situ, and hope for the best that it works..

I was not a happy bunny last thing yesterday. Never mind. As long as it works tomorrow Ill feel a bit better.

The car in question was a S2 HDi SX Xantia. The reason for this, for some reason the leak off tail on the valve had snapped off, so it was slowly leaking.. I though, OH, quick swap there. 10 mins. Job done.     :x :x :x :x

Oh, sorry to hear that Paul :(

Tomorrow is another day and it'll be a better one where the security valve will pop back togother a treat and be completely free of leaks :D
