Any chance of a low tone (left hand) horn finding it's way into your car.

I think we'll all be doing that Charles. I listened to the shipping forecast this morning and they speak of Force 11 (violent storm) winds going up to possible Force 12 hurricane around Paul's island.

Glad I’m not in a boat. It's going to be a tad breezy..

I'm worried about a copper beech in the garden. It's rotten bits have not been helped by the woodpeckers' exploratory drilling all over it. If the Hurricane hits from the west it will take out the rear end of my garage or from the south west, my Japanese maple bed. Fortunately the weakest branch fell last year, missing a newly planted Acer by cms (it then got sunburn!).

Apparently the worse of the winds are middle to south but we shall see...

Ill chuck a couple of working horns in the boot will... no idea if they are left right top or bottom but they will both work tested on a battery

It's not bad at all here, bit of a breeze and some rain, but nothing more.

Hope everyone survived the 'hurricane'...no squashed XM's I hope. Only had rain here, was expecting it to blow up but it scurried around us. I even parked the car away from any trees just in case!

No damage to anything apart from as predicted, the copper beech lost a branch, which fortunately was hit from the west south west and took out nothing in its fall.

The little lane up the road that is a good rat run to the main road was flooded to about a foot, but with the suspension height up the XM just sailed through. The transit behind did find it somewhat deeper than he'd thought though!
