Go ahead and enjoy that car! With LPG you'll be laughing all the time you fill that tank! In some countries there are big issues regarding LPG - must be certified installer to get an MOT with the tank, registration and road tax issues but I guess that's not the case in the UK.
Do you have a pic of your car

If it's road legal why do you have to keep it at the farm. It would be cheaper to find local storage.

Even I know that will.. but she isnt.. though with lpg I could probably keep her legal then as she be used far more freqently. Local storage is a bit urm scarse.. certainly a place to trust..

How about the 93 K v6 12v auto LPG or maybe how about selling the V Xantia HDI daily hack. I'd much prefer to have that 24 V on LPG as a daily hack and if you don't want to sell the Xantia you put that in storage at a farm. Just a thought

Actually id happily to sell the xantia once the xm is fully offordable on the road. That was the idea of getting the diesel auto sorted but unfortunally a job got in the way (needed to really)

Hi Paul,

Here's my two pence worth.....

The 24v as everyone knows is a very special car, so if I was you id pour my money into the 24v, convert it to LPG and then use it, keeping it in shape as you go.

I think originality is right for keeping the values and desirability high as originality is pulling the biggest interest nowadays, but you don't need to worry about that as you have said you have everything required to remove the LPG kit if you wanted to and restore its originality for resale if and when you ever wanted to move it on.

Id love to own a 24v... 8-) series 1 of course :P
