If there is to be a meeting at Cosford I shall definitely attend and hopefully Andy (Smoothcruiser) also might be persuaded as he is occasionally in the area. Provided a reasonable attendance is secured I think an event of this kind might be the way to go, since there is minimal work involved, basically someone has to notify the venue and then folk just tip on the day, with refreshments and facilities all provided and the added attraction of the museum. One difficulty with past rallies was that a small number of people bore the burden of arrangements, including booking, organising food on site and at the pub, plus prizes etc. I personally really enjoyed Little Horwood and especially the setting and opportunity to camp, plus the local convoys organised by Jim and others, but times move on!
