I didn't. But i did smooth it out with a dry cloth and in doing so you push the liquid out. It worked well.

Eldest daughter saw the COTY sticker on my XM.

Her comment:

'Hmm, they were clearly short of decent candidates that year then...'

Oh, I see. My 1995 V6-12 Exclusive I had for 9 years (95-04) had one too.
