Oh dear :( There is more wrong with that one than my white one, I might as well do that up and stick with it, its got a lighter clutch than any XM I have driven and it has a super ride, just that the paint work is a bit tatty and its going to need a head gasket at some time in the future.

Don't forget the issues shown with that original posting of the auction way back last November,
were almost that year back before it got into new hands with possibly more enthusiasm and
time to devote to it - otherwise it probably wouldn't have been for sale with that original guy
in the first place. There's nothing quite as effective to a car's state than new enthusiastic blood
although apathetic buyers can obviously have a detrimental effect too.

...and the original auction showed the fitment of ABS!
And it does show 4 previous owners now, not the 2 in November!

If I was you Peter, I would buy it.

I bought a L reg 2.1 TD Auto estate in silver last week. The price was right, I couldn't refuse! And I'm not an estate fan (yet).

Gawd Robert, you're aiming for Xm world domination or something!?
How many's that now then?

If you like, pay enough and you can have some of mine, they'll only spend
your money for you not make any! Next time you take stock, the 6 cars ends
up being 100+ and I'm not kidding.

Will there be enough electric armrests to sate this demand!

Thats 4 Xms now, 3 of them 2.1 TD autos. I only have 6 cars, its not that many really. I have a bit of an electronic armrest defecit now! One of the more recent acquisitions may be shifted on, so the balance will be restored!

The estate had its head gasket done 10 K miles/ 1 year ago, and had a timing belt kit fitted then, so it was hard to refuse! :D

How often do 3 piece suites need moving about the countryside!?
Mind, as far as I'm concerned, I don't see how folk can actually charge money
for an Xm with that vile autobox... ;)
