Aye, she's a good un Franklin. Touch wood, running like a dream. I'll be starting on a resto programme over the winter months. Namely wheel refurb, some small areas of paint and replace the plastic chrome trim. Hopefully all be ready to show off at the X rally. Have the dates been set for the X rally BTW?

The tester wasn't foxed by that, but the keypad immobiliser caught him out. One of the other mechanics mentioned that he cut his teeth on BX's and Visa's.CitroJim wrote:But does it tell him how to operate the pedal and latch though?mds141 wrote:The equipment even informs the tester of the front wheel handbrake operation for the brake roller test.

We'll be sitting down with Alan to sort out the dates for all of the East Midlands Group Meets in December time, so will have a definite answer then. Will be April time like last year though.mds141 wrote:Hopefully all be ready to show off at the X rally. Have the dates been set for the X rally BTW?

Re: Mot
Good stuff Franklin... I hate this long, dry period between rallies. September to April is just too long
Hopefully in 2013 I can make rather more than the three I managed this year. This year's CXM will live on in my memory for a long time though...
