Anyway, a big thumbs up to Ray Williams who sorted the ABS issue on my car - rusted inceptor rings, sourced new replacements, stripped the old off the drive shafts and fitted the new, all for under £150, including the loan of a car for two days. He used to be one of the team at Citroen UK in the 70s! who trained all the mechanics in various new things, like aircon and fuel injection, and he is a mine of information as well as extremely experienced. So he's going to have a crack at sorting out the HT leads on the SM with a view to seeing if we can get the D jetronic to reduce fuelling.

By coincidence when out and about in my SM on the weekend, two people recommended him.

That's excellent news Charles. Good to know about Ray too. Worth travelling to a good mechanic.
