AFAIK. No XM had a ski flap. The back of the rear seat is steel, so a flap would be difficult.

Well I was wondering where this ski flap idea came from, as I have never seen one and it's not listed in any brochure material. I knew about the split seat, but the ski flap is a myth.

Perhaps confusion with the 605 which did have one. ...

You're right! The 605 did have one, maybe that's where it has come from.... A large ski sock if I remember rightly. There is an old topgear video on youtube of it.

Bloody hell. Of the three that I mentioned I didn't think ski flap would generate so much controversy! :o

Ive noticed another potential difference.....yesterday i was at Paul's and acquired a new set of dashboard tweeters from his early (H reg i think) donor...

When i went to plug them into my existing loom plug, the connections were in reverse....it the old tweeter had a female plug on it, yet on my K reg the tweeter hd the male plug on it. The exact same female plug on mine was in the dash loom looking up at me....What's that all about! Why change the plug configuration around, other than to make me have to transfer the connectors over

Also the door window switches had difference configurations on the pin side whereas on top they look identicle....Good job Paul supplied me with both types ;)
