I do like them. The upholstery is rather fun! I did see yesterday, and I think this is was Andrews, a while this was posted, a Maroon one. Looked great.

Robert, that is lovely. Early Xantias are somehow much more eye-catching!

That is a really rare and very desirable Xantia in my opinion. Its actually the only one I have seen in the metal with that engine, the rare 155bhp 2.0 16v as fitted to only a small few very early Xantias.
Does it get much use Robert?

It doesn't get any use to be honest. Its sitting waiting its turn along with the others. It needs a little bit of work (it is a Xantia afterall!) Its the complete opposite of the first Xantia we had in our family, a 1993 1.9 D Base spec model.
I'm in no rush to sell her yet guys. It was Xantias that got me into Citroens as a kid, so there is a bit of attachment to it. Plus it only has 60K miles on it.

Its very similar to the BX 16V lump, although the block is cast iron, and heavier than the BX unit.

I am not surprised you want to keep it Robert. Very nice car indeed. For some reason though, I have a hankering for a gold one too.
