Looks as if a small batch of these quadrants to hand over here would be a good idea if there is enough support.
I will explore the possibility when I contact Colin about some stainless idlers for the 2.5 aux belt.

Colin P emailed me suggesting he might be making another batch if enough demand, (I need two, so with your three we seem to be well on the way) but I haven't heard anything back since I replied to him. So I've got no idea whether he still plans to make some or not, or the timescale.

I'd certainly be interested in one for a spare too!

Went to see a mate of mine yesterday, and he reckons he can make me a quadrant in aluminium. I'm going to take the busted one over to him tonight so we can measure it up and see what we can do.
It won't be as smart and shiny as Colin P's stainless CNC one, as it will have to be handmade, but it should do the job and how often are you ever likely to see it?

I think you will do just fine. Being aluminium, it will require the roller bearing to be inserted though.

well, I got my aluminium quadrent made and fitted it a week ago and it is working fine. Was a bit expensive though...

Anyone heard from Colin P recently? He had intimated that he would make another batch of Steel quadrents, and I still need one.

You could try searching out Colin by finding his user name and firing him a PM, he may get a notification via email (if he still uses the same account) and he may have one left, he may also have washed his hands of the whole saga some time ago and not be in a position to make any more but its worth a try if your keen.

From memory he was a very nice bloke.
