A suprisingly positive review of Doug about the CX:

And it doesn't have too many errors in the narrative.

funny looking Xm.. I rarely watch American reviews because they are soo over the top and outrageous about things.. I've passed on it so far. and still will..

He spotted an XM a little while back and posted it up on his social media, a lot of these youtube car channels are very positive about older Citroen vehicles. I think their previously overlooked status combined with their sudden and increasing rarety and left of centre design has drawn a lot of attention in recent years.

He has a special style to him, so I usually follow his videos. Not all, Veyrons and Ferraris and other supercars are not my cup of tea but normal ones are often interesting.

He has started a car sale platform of his own (https://carsandbids.com) recently with the express intent of only catering for interesting cars of the last few decades, not run-of-the-mill used car sales. And he prepares a video of some of the really interesting picks there, both to help sales and to boost his channel, and this was one the cars on sale there, hence the CX video. While he obviously makes nice sums of money with both with his videos and his sale site now, he kept an online persona (and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that an IRL persona as well, he has a "more" channel as well that gives some insight) that's very far from the usual show-off-my-supercar-of-the-week YT genre.

Definitely, he is not the usual “influencer”

I commented on that video and included a few things he had left out. Must be strange now but we didn't think so when we had them.

Citroen's of any flavour would be a bit odd in the american market as they have not been officially imported there for decades.
keeping an eye on the auction for this.

Not someone I'd want to listen to for any length of time! Couldn't wait for the talking head to end.
Front passenger's seat window switches? - Couldn't he work out that the two switches could just be transposed? Well, he's obviously none too bright.
Just glad he didn't try driving the car at "SUV ground clearance height" - could have been embarrassing.
A little knowledge . . . as they say . . .

Shame about the dreadful steering wheel cover!
Did like the rear leg-room though.

Possibly the most ungainly looking CX possible. Gone is the delicacy of a Series 1 SWB. If he were to review one I think the styling score would've gone up.
