This should be interesting more for the number of bidders than the price. Starting at £3k for 1 of only 2 in the country. So who's got the other one folks?

Oh I spoken to the owner. The ad writers.. The seller didn't write the ad.. So I assume client based.. Wrote the poorly researched information..

The seller didn't write the ad . . .poorly researched information.
Now why doesn't that surprise me! From the bottom of the barrel to the top the level of journalism is dire. Makes you wonder what else he got wrong.

If the buyer isn't in the know when he finds out there's a damn sight more than two I wonder if he'll have any recourse against the journalist or website? 🤔

There are 15, V6 Exclusive taxed at the end of Q2 - 2021... the second most populated model of Xm left on Uk roads.
Without checking, it's possible it is one of only two V6-Exclusives registered in Yr2000.

This car and member was on this forum a few years ago.
The owner is a classic car trader and rescued this one off an elderly Ladies drive, where it had stood for several years, after the Husband was deceased.

It was white and iirc, had a duff Hp-20 gearbox.

It appears he has spent a fair sum on a replacement gearbox and full respray to black, so will be looking to recoup that.

Yes, looks to have been white. Thought there might be some clues...

No wonder the respray was expensive, with all those 'returns' to alter.

I wonder why there's no photos of the interior or the engine bay? Unless the buyer has done their homework there's going to be a little white surprise for them.

(Why not just respray it white is beyond me! )

Agree - A very odd choice of colour for smartening up an old car. No wonder the cost was so high!
An original white respray would have been easier, less obvious, 'original', and (in white) much more forgiving.

But there you go . . . As a teenager, I resprayed my beige Vespa 125 in orange, and later (as a student favour to one of my college lecturers) respayed his Austin Minivan in Hammerite Bronze (his choice :?) - a sort of poor man's Sable Phenicien.

Must also own up to a '59 Morris Mini in black (originally a plum colour, where the original paint was turning to powder) which became something of a oddity, with its carpeted roof lining and door cards, 1100 TC engine, pukka dash, P6 front seats, and finally an auto box. It was one of the first 500 off the production line, so never rusted.
