If you can post your VIN, we can check exactly what the car has.

As Will says, do check the EV snout for excesssive (more than a very tiny quantity, each time the EV operates) fluid return. If there is no excess leak-off, the EV innards will not need opening up.

Will also makes the good point that many of the return pipes join up on their way nack to the reservoir, so a leak/weep needs checking out carefully. Clean up the damp area, dry it off, and see exactly where the drip originates. Once fixed, the problem is not likely to resurface.

Thanks. It’s occurred to me that the car is up on a ramp which supports the car but the wheels are kept in the air as it were, it’s not a drive on ramp. As there is no pressure from the wheels in that they are not on the ground or the ramp, will the ev operate in the same way and is it likely that you won’t see a leak there or in the pipes/elbows as it occurs, because of that?

There are no SED estates.
All are Sd that have been rebadged...as your manual heating controls demonstate.

Is this the green one from Nothamptonshire?

With the wheels hanging the height corrector will never return any fluid, so a leak there won't be revealed by fluid flow.
The height corrector active return is the greatest flowing return pipe.

Interesting. It is from Northamptonshire but it’s grey. There is no sed badge on the boot but either side at the front is sed. You know more than me but why would someone rebadge it in that position on both sides and not in the boot?

Btw has anyone got a picture of the pipes and which one is the active return? It just looks a mass to me! There is one very thin clear pipe under the others.

The thin clear pipe is the active return.
No S1 Xm had boot trim version badges.

I think I do recall that car being grey, not green. It should be a nice Xm, no rust iirc, but it is a lower trim with added leather seats.

When were the seats added? At purchase? How many are there do you think?

No idea when the leather was added, posibly at original order.
Does it have the electric height adjustable centre armrest?

Estate and hatch rear seats are different, so if the seat back has normal looking estate latches, it is an estate leather seat, which is very rare.

Does it have alloy wheels and Abs?
