Interesting. Yes to those items. It has leather seating, do you think that at purchase, it’s only had one other owner, he upgraded to leather seats. Do you know, I can’t see him adding badges though. It’s a bit strange really.

Guys. Remembering what’s been said about my leak, I don’t have access to a pit or a drive on ramp. To observe the leak happening could I Jack the car up, set tripods up on each corner then make sure the wheels are on the floor and crawl under to see? Any suggestions?

When going underneath, always provide TWO secure means of support at each end (or each corner if lifting both ends up).
Wheels on four ramps is good, but if removing a wheel as well, use TWO axle stands at the corner, or a substantial wooden block.

Always stop to think: what would happen if my chosen single means of support were to fall over or collapse?
NEVER go underneath if the car is supported by its hydraulics only.
Stop and think, too, whenever slackening the pressure relief bolt on the Accumulator block.

Four good ramps, and four good axle stands, is a good investment.

Chucking a removed wheel under a stout spot is easy to do, and could prevent an inconvenient total collapse.
Remember that the parking brake operates on the front wheels, so firmly chock the back ones if lifting the front.
Belt and braces! :)

Appreciate that, gonna put it up on the lift, place four ramps underneath and lower it on to them with parking brake, that sound ok?

Just go under the car and have a look for where the pipes are wet.
As the leak is at the front I would just jack the front up as reasonably high as you can, place axle stands under the rear end of the subframe or "chassis" rails, chock the rear wheels.
Having only the front raised will give a little more clearance at the front.

I can't see how you would go under an Xm only raised high enough that it still has the wheels touching the ground.

If you run the engine and alter the vehicle height it will alter the rear wheelbase, so the rear chocks need to be moved to allow for that.
As the body goes up, the wheelbase shortens, due to using trailing arm suspension.

Ramps can be very useful for a quick lift and any operation that requires the car to still be on it's wheels.
Tall ones work better, but may require drive on extensions to allow the car to climb the steeper ramp and on most cars, to clear the bumper.

Yeah thought if it was on four of those Ramps which we ve got, then raised to high, which should be maximum pressure? Is that right? Then we should fit under there? Also maximin pressure causing us to hopefully see the Leak better. Btw, we know it’s not from the snout of the ev. So are the elbows directly above the ev or more to the left towards the passenger side?

Use your ramps, raising the car will increase the suspension circuit pressure as the bushes twist and when the struts reach the bump stops, but it's probably a return pipe leak, most likely the height corrector return.

Raise then lower the car while watching and the leak should be very obvious due to the return being utilised as fluid is returned from the suspension back to the reservoir.

As long as the car is on ramps and clears you at minimum height this is safe to do, though watching a car coming down towards you can be a daunting experience.

Yes, not the best.
Alternatively, wipe clean and dry off the suspect area, place a bit of clean cardbord on the ground under the car (to help mark the drip) and operate the height up/down a few times. Then, with engine off, go under to find the leak.
I would not want to be under a hydraulic Citroen while it descended, unless on a pukka workshop lift.

A few (3x) cans of brake cleaner to get everything clean & dry....I never use wipes to clean in "spaghetti" areas of pipes as rags do not clean it all up and often catch and remove more :)
