Hi all. The metal unions on the base of the fdv were loose so tightened them and cleaned it. The bolt on the regulator at the base has a leaky o ring and does move when it moves up and down so that will need to be replaced but it’s not terrible. The bolt is tight. Thanks gents. All return pipes seem to be tight.

The base of the regulator shouldn't be able to move, it sounds like the bolt has a washer missing.
You will find the O ring probably seals once the base isn't moving.

Thanks, you mean the washer on the outside of the bottom plate/bracket as it were? In other words under the bolt head outside the plate? Meanwhile, the Speedo cable where it goes into the gear oil, where the long rubber ‘nail’ goes into. I think the O-ring inside is naff, where can I get a proper one?

I do mean the washer for the outside of the mounting plate.

The speedo cable drive O ring is just a regular O ring, available from either a Stellantis dealer (PSA, GM Europe, Fiat)

P/n and descriptions:
2644 04 TACHOMETER CONTROL SEAL, 8 X 16 X7/15,6 -21
05 2645 12 GEAR-BOX RING-SEAL, DIAM 24-TO 3

Alternatively a bearings/seals supplier.. There are two on the cable, one on the coupling.

The accumulator seal is a regular sphere seal.

They are square seals, but round O rings will work Ok.

5272 15 SQUARE SEAL, 37,4X42X2,6

Hi dieselman. I’m having trouble locating the o rings for the gear box/Speedo cable the suggestions you gave me are saying No and telling me to go direct to Citroen. Do you know of anywhere that has definitely got them in uk? I have located a sphere ring on eBay if that’s the right one?

This is the seal, is it good for the accumulator?

Remove the cable drive from the gearbox and pull the cable out of it and measure the O rings.

Apologies, I gave you the wrong p/n for the 2 x cable O rings.

6988 06 O-RING, 13,6X2,7

So, it's:
2 off 13.6 x 2.7
1 off 24 x 3
