I need an exploded diagram of the Brake Meter and the part before it that connected to the brake pedal

Brake doseur valve removal and free play adjustment (9mm) is covered comprehensively in the Haynes manual.

Pulling all apart, I think I might have found the problem, the pivot bolt/screw was very stiff with rust, got it all moving now need to reline top bolt adjuster with the right gap

If it hasn't been adjusted previously it should still be set correctly.
I trust you have only removed the doseur valve/bell crank bracket.
Don't be tempted to pull the rubber gaiter out, it's a real pain to refit in the lower steel skin properly and will cause the bell crank to press on the doseur valve if not in correctly.

Glad you found it.. I had said pivots will be siezing up theres little else to cause it

Pack the pivot with grease to stop a repeat.
