My 1996 XM now has a lovely dash after getting the parts in the UK. Thanks to those that helped me. Using it to take my son to school each day. Aircon working very well. Only problem I can see now are the green info displays and front part of seat belt where belt clicks in. Can I replace and use any other citroen seat belts on these? The leather seats are a bit cracked - not sure how I will tidy these up, but I might just leave them as they are

Leather car seats are made with processed leather, which means the leather is stripped of all natural oils and is then coated with a Pvc paint and synthetic oils.
If the surface coating has cracked you can have it re-connolised...repainted with Pvc paint.

This is why modern leather seats feel sticky...you are sitting on vinyl.

It shouldn't be too hard to obtain a seat belt buckle for an Xm seat.
Any with the correct female clasp and bracket to fit the seat will work.

Member, Seraphi lives in Thailand and says car resotration/modding, including leatherwork, is easy to come by and cheap.
