headlight plastic inserts

Post by Southerneruk » Wed Oct 09, 2024 12:24 am

I was wondering, could we make these plastic inserts in the headlight, I do have a 3d printer, there are clear nylon plastic threads for the 3d printer I have, only thing is I am not good at the programming bit, I am still in the stage of learning this part, but if anyone else is good at it maybe they like to try to program my 3d printer using the peer to peer connection

I think the issue with 3d printing these is they need to be optically perfect and 3d print isn't due to building the item up in layers.

That's a shame, what about making an alloy press stamp, using a laser cutter to imprint the alloy block

while I remember, this place gets the odd XM for breaking now and again https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/rochfordcarspares
