Very entertaining, was that a manual gearbox? I didn't think they used one. That would be in its favour, if they made an estate and it didn't have a common rail engine or lots of electronics to go wrong and I could repair it myself - I would be interested.

That is the normal Tipshift selector.
I suspect they don't make an estate because they are trying to project the image that the C6 is a luxury car to compete with S-class and 7-series.
I see it more against the E class.
A larger, more luxurious version would be a good luxury car.

Well. I guess Citroen devotees can adopt the twin line with a hiccup sweep
across the chest as a greeting in a similar vein to Trekkies?
The sign of a believer!? :lo:

Citroens are designed by a "higher intelligence?

I'm sure I've seen her before in something but I'm damned if I know what.
Apparent too that it's being sold by the essence of it's style/presence/image
whatever and not ruined by a toe curling payoff line or cheesy gimmick!
This ad just say's, "right, cop a load of this" is a mysterious minimal way.
Quite brave really as usually there's some berk narrative plattling on about
mpg/zoom zoom and autoemotion etc.

The next time you see her Andrew,
Show her this
If you could get her to pull a few of those out of thin air, we'd be landed.

Shows how many modern cars I see

The E class estate is the only one the size of the XM, we could do with another large one.

				Nice ad.
Whilst it does look good from certain angles (and I do like the back end) I don't think the C6 comes close to the balance and styling perfection of the Traction Avant/D/CX/XM. The front is a major anticlimax to me, and puts me in mind of Renault for some reason. Fair effort but...
