Rare

This has to be one of the rarest XMs left.

http://www.leboncoin.fr/vi/49439520.htm?ca=8_s

Carb Model, brown dash, no centre console, non hydractive, the list goes on.

It really looks superb in an odd kind of way. Its only down the road from where I work also.

Looks VERY clean! Love the colour, nicest for an Xm possibly?

In fact, it reminds me of a styling study clay mock up* made in the design studio before
all the additional bit'n pieces got added. (*I realise some bright spark will say the French
studios use plaster :D ).

Odd seeing it without any spoiler of any kind.

That's not brown Dean!! Least I think not, that's sand gold (or champagne) metallic isn't it?
Or is it another shade from Citroen's repertoire of elastoplast beige that only they can get
away with selling in France?

What are we talking about here, dash or body? i would agree with you in that the body colour is sublime, beautiful in fact but i was talking of the brown interior, not my choice at all but there is no getting away from the fact it is very different! maybe as you say a continental thing? only seen grey or black in XM's before.

Is it not just the tint of the camera shot that makes it look like a beige interior dash?
Mind, from hearing our Australian/New Zealand posters describe disintegrating dash's
due to the bleaching heat/sun the black dash of our cars in the Uk would be totally
hopeless so the same may be the case in southern France - colour critical possibly?

Mind, that 3 000 € price is a bit chunky compared to what we have become accustomed
to seeing in this part of the world! And that's for something that has less than normal on
it!! :?

I love it - interior colour and all. Maybe that's my love for all things automotive and '70's coming out? Looks good without the spoiler IMO.

Out of interest - 'no hydractive' - is there a simple way to achieve this on my car until I can sort the problem with my H1 ECU? I'm dying to know how an XM feels when it's NOT in sports mode!! :)

not really a sensible way of making your car a non hydractive tim, you need a totaly different system and sphere's, a non hydractive basicaly has BX suspension.
Deffinatly a brown interior Andrew and seats, door cards, carpets, and doesnt it look funny inside with no armrest or hydractive switch by the gear lever, it does look very classic citroen in this guise dont you think?

Tim, to be non hydractive maybe it'd be easier if you treated yourself to a CX!
Or a Bx or Xantia. Or perhaps a 2CV! ;)

Citroen have always done odd trim in different markets.
