A good present to treat one-self to (As this Forum is a year old) to a set of these @ £12.99 from
ALDI to get to those awkward spots like the exhaust/inlet manifold/turbo flange fastener-nuts !
If you
MISSED these last time (January 28th) they had a 5 degree angle ratchet this time there not so fine at 8 degrees BUT do have the advantage of having the angled/Flexi head !

Your joking right
I grabbed a set of those ALDI ratchet spanners last time they were out here (there in the ALDI's here again). The heads on them are way to large to fit on 99.9999999% of the fastereners when doing an XM headjob (then again, just about no tool known to man fits ... or your hands .... Infact a human hair would have problems fitting in there

).
There quite handy ............... If have a CX or DS to work on.
seeya,
Shane L.

They look good, pity our nearest Aldi is about 30 miles away.

I did look at these last time but forgot but in the meantime halfords had a set of pro branded ones on offer for £39.99 and they are very good, my dads had a set for about 8 years now and they are still perfect.
The trouble with the cheaper tools is the bulkyness of the spanner, i would agree with Shane, they can be a pita to get into a tight spot if they are too bulky. mind you, you cant argue for the price so long as they arent made out of wax.

As long as they fit the fastener properly. A poorly fitting spanner is not worth buying.
