Mine does the same thing sometimes. It must be the power being output from the phone causes voltage spikes in the rev counter wiring, so causes voltage for the rev counter to read..

And I thought the official line was that mobile phones aren't dangerous......

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH its a blydi video!!!

No one said it was a video! I thought it was a picture!! They are the same with Analouge audio equipment - it picks up the "Micro" waves, or are they "Gamma" waves, when theres a signal comming in or put....

Put your phone under your radio in the XM, switch it on, and it can pick them up from there

The revcounter, although DERV mechnical engines, uses a pules transducer sensor and the rev counter is also electronic which the sensor is picking up!!!
