Why are some of the aftermarket alloy wheels I see on Ebay such disgusting creations.

Take these for example!

or these

I mean, these cost more than a car? Who would blight their car with them?

my experience of bodykits is that almost all aftermarket kits are done on the cheap and look 'bog', whereas some factory fit ones look fabulous as they have been designed by the people who made the cars in the first place.

These look exellent on CGAT the tuned CX.
And to be fair a set of tyres would be worth more than most Xm's, a couple of years ago a tank of fuel and a fresh tax disc would be worth more than most average condition xm's.
I think these are well priced, 18's are too big really but even so you get a set of new alloys with brand new tyres on for £500!! not bad really. probably the thing to do when your C6 tyres are worn out.

Keith, who was letting everyone test drive his C6 at CXM paid £250 a piece for his Michelin 17" tyres on his C6!!

I probably cost him about £30 when I drove it last year then...
