Buggrit - anyone have some spare 2.0 exhaust valves?

Off topic chat about anything you like. Doesn't have to be about XMs (though they will inevitibly come up!). You can even discuss non-Citroens :o in here!

Ah Yes Dean, but you cheated!! ;) The n/a 2.0 has positively acres of room to faff about in at
the timing covers end and the spaghetti pipework of the inlet on the turbo does hamper
access to pin the starter ring gear!!

in reality the problem I had was purely getting the bottom bolt undone and the job was all
over and finished sharply once that bas&@rd undid. I'm guessing too that the seemingly
forumwide starter method is used? Make life a bit more interesting the first turbo belt you
change and cut the old one off and then undo the bottom bolt...

Oh Yes, and you are sad timing yourself!! :P ;)

There's something to be said for a nice simple 2.0i!! Really, there is!

Oh yes, to be able to do the timing belt that simply is just heaven and of course i had a ring gear window in the box, and the bottom pulley came off within seconds etc etc, it all makes a big difference.
