Fixed the cruise control

At Wetherby I met several nice XM owners to visit this forum, one of who told me the likely cause of my new XM's cruise control working. It turned out that the contact in the brake pedal for the cruise control wasn't touching when my foot was off the brake pedal. A little fiddling and it now works.

So thanks to you, whoever you are. Sorry I can't remember your name. :-)

Hi Eifion,

Yup, thats the first most common problem! The second is a didgy relay under the headlamps, the third is the Vac pump or pipes...

STILL need to organise a visit, but we are mad busy trying to organise house ready for a visitor week saturday... :?

Pleased that you managed to fix the problem, which I remember we did discuss at Wetherby. Hope to see you at another CCC rally. Best regards, Matthew T.
