Does anyone know how these come off, ive dropped the rear subframe ready for paint but there is rust between the mounting and the body of the car, i want to take the mounting off to sort it out but instead of bolts there are just domed rivet type things, anyone know how they come off?

Hi Dean
I have the same problem as I suspect one of mine is suspect

but had not got as far as close examination. I suppose they are riveted on unless they are studs and you can get to them from above somehow.

The nuts are on the other end of the bolts.
Clear the boot and you will find two pairs of black plastic caps.
Remove the caps and use a socket on an extension bar to undo the nuts.

Lift the boot carpet. And there will be 4 rubber plugs, pop them out, and a 13mm long reach socket to undo the 4 bolts holding the 2 mounts onto the body.
These are what I undo when dropping subframes from cars, no corrosion, and easy to undo!
EDIT: As John says!

Thanks John/Robert I thought that might be the case but didn't know where to look.
