Any more joy with this Ciaran? Even though you no longer have the car.

Well, rang the cops last week and they said its still ongoing, but the girl who's investigating it has been off for a few weeks. They apologised for the length of time its taking but said that's quite common.
On the fact that I no longer have the car, he said it doesn't matter, as the offence occured when I did have it, so who owns it now has no bearing on it really.

Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

Andrew
Was forced to sell (well, trade) it to offset the cost of my 2.1 needing a new engine, long story.

Unfortunate really, it was tidy enough, and I know there was interest here if I was ever going to be passing it on, but circumstances forced my hand sadly.

In Sweden, a hit and run like that can get your license pulled.

If you inflict damage on a car and don't report it to police, your license is in danger.

I'd love it if that were the case here, I've lost count of the number of times I've come back to find damage to my cars caused by some selfish person whos just taken off without a second thought, and most people I know have experienced the same thing.
