Hello!

I want to buy a flaring tool from Automec but with sipping it will cost me more than i get in a month so i was wondering if there is someone here interested in selling one on a good price. The one i want to buy from Automec costs 158 pounds.
I want to start a small business in replacing brake and hydraulic pipes with copper pipes and i need this tool. I cant find something like this here in Romania.
And of course i want to replace all the pipes with copper on my Xm :)

My first Flaring tool arrived today, this one is only for copper pipes and for only 3 types of flaring not citroen like.
This one was pretty cheap: ~30 GBP with transport.
Here is a photo with the tool http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/402/dscn9779u.jpg/

I knew that there are minimum chances that someone here will sell something so precious for a citroen lover but i give it a try anyway.
I am going to buy the one from Automec and start building pipes :)
Cheers!

I presume you mean cupro-nickel (Trade name Cunifer) pipe and not pure copper?
Pure soft/annealed copper pipe is the easiest to work but can work harden and present a risk of cracking when subject to vibration. Cupro-nickel does not have this problem.

Regarding the flaring tool, I recall posting some links (either here or on Club-XM.com)to some French articles with drawings showing how to fabricate the tool. Perhaps a local engineering/fabrication shop could make one for you.

That's good to know i'll use copper pipes only in places where there are no vibrations.
I am thinking about inox too. It is more resistant than copper.

Check Poland. I have an impact tool that does all three sizes from there.
