It's already been mentioned that it looks like an eight wheel DS. I can certainly see the similarity in the roofline.

Bet that's hard on it's ball joints, track rod ends and headlight bulbs!!

Not ONE picture shows the pantheresque front pair of axles with a smidgeon of lock
- seems he needs a racing circuit to get it turned around. I'll stick with a DS please!!

You know by now Peter, for the ultimate reaction from your trip to Sainbury's, you'd need
my favourite, have you forgotten this:

Mind, it'd be a right git trying to find which ABS sensor is AWOL and that's assuming the
computer knows about an extra pair of wheels!! OK. So it doesn't have ABS, so apart
from the incumbent weight, what would stop it when it reaches motorway speeds; would
another pair if calipers handle the additional bulk and cargo!? Ok, sorry I hijacked the
weird 8 wheeler thread but this sprang to mind when I saw the original link!!

Just one extra axle would magnify the hassles of consumables like tyres. brakes and the
usual suspension suspects, plus the exhaust and extra yardage of hydraulic pipework! Now,
8 wheels is just getting silly!!?

Good grief! Yes I had. I think it would need amplifiers on the ABS lines, so there was still some signal by the time it got to the front. :o
