Fingers still crossed for you Dave - no news yet?

Don't worry! I'm watching..... Change of plan though. Son Alex has had my ZX 1.9 D and I'm going to use the Xantia. :)

Preliminary individual meetings yesterday. I'm keeping positive but it's hard! But I don't want to sound too cocky coz isn't that just when you get your teeth kicked in! :o

One good thing though, been looking on t'internet and there are lots of engineering jobs for pretty good money. My supervisor sent his cv to one today: Engineering supervisor, £55k + benefits + completely funded car! Don't know why there's so many engineering jobs, maybe they can't get the right people.

Anyone up on the legal side of things here? Just thinking if I do get picked. I'll get about £11k package so thought about banging that straight on the mortgage. That will leave about £5k to pay off. So hopefully can hang onto the house. Payment insurance lasts 2 years I think.

its a shame redundancy wouldnt be that little bit more to cover the whole mortgage but then i dont think its worth dwelling on it too much yet, you may well be ok and all the panic was for nothing.

Yes thats the trouble Bob they only want young kids now. At least our company sticks with the old boys when they can. Unfortunately this situation was forced on them by the customer. There are a few options, Denmark maintenance at Carlsberg! :o but need fluent Danish. Texas, not sure who for but its a bloody awful commute!
