Re: XM Demisting Performance...
My demist is quite good too. The Aircon is excellent at demisting the interior within seconds. Although I have been suffering with a wet windscreen inside....Just condensation.
How quick are peoples rear window element demist? Mine takes quite a while it seems, but it might also be a fogged up second window, i'm actually looking at!
I did do something really dumb though...I for some reason half closed all the dash vents ages ago, and totally forgot. Stupid since they are right in front of you, ....And I was wondering recently, why aren't I getting enough warm air in here.
DURRR.. Opening the vents might help!

Re: XM Demisting Performance...
I have inadvertantly done that myself and it scared me into thinking that the matrix has gone. The rear dimister will never be as efficient as the front one as it relys purely on heat with little air flow.

Re: XM Demisting Performance...
The DS3 is hopeless at front demising, even set to windscreen on the climate control panel, it just doesn't have enough ooomph. The BX heater/demister is legendary, almost furnace levels of heat.

We dont use them for no reason you know! The Best ride, The best status on the road, the best looks, the best seating, the best comfort, the best heating and ventilation.... should I go on??
I do even find my SED with roatry dials for the heater also demists well which is common affair while she's sitting idle at the moment...

That's funny, my Xantia is brilliant at demisting even up here in this soaking country. Mind you, I am comparing it to the CX that is utter pap at demisting agreed!

Re: XM Demisting Performance...
I had my gold V612v with the earlier heater controls parked all day in the shade and the ice on the windscreen outside was gone in about 3-5mins that I thought was quite impressive!! Regards, Matthew T.

Re: XM Demisting Performance...
I think I ought to say that the time I waited for the car´s windscreen to de-ice was in line with what I´d expect of the hard frost that had settled on it. The rear window was clear a bit faster.
