Early promo film!!

Great video Matthew. I have seen it before. What is quite interesting, are the similarities of the Mercs interior to the XM. Clearly the Merc made some influence on the XM designers.

Have you seen or got the 20min video made by Citroen UK for the XM. It's a cheesy promo film about a film crew, filming the XM with it's rivals, and showing off it's abilities ect in quite a corny stilted way. It's very 1989/90! What is quite funny is they really try and discredit all the other cars they use to compare the XM with, particularly the BMW 5 series. Anyway it is ended with quite a nice sequence which the 'film crew' were meant to have shot. It sounds confusing, but it is quite fun. Pity no one has got it on You tube.

Ive got the Video, and I also have a seaky feeling it could of been done up here some where, because my sad eagle eye spotted the registration plate on the crew truck and it was a local one to me..

Not to say it could be anywhere of course!!

Ive been meaning to make a DVD copy of the video on my video to DVD recorder...
